A restaurant remodel the inspector stopped to compliment.

Left: a custom LED design for a restaurant remodel, strips hidden in the arches so the wood glows and the fixture never shows. Right: a new main panel at rough-in, every circuit labeled before the drywall goes up. Eloy shoots these on his phone the day the work is done.

05The Owner

Grew up in Temecula. Learned the trade at thirteen.

Hardy Electric opened its doors in October 2025. Eloy grew up in Temecula, spent twelve years in the trade and five of them in San Diego, and moved his family back home at the start of 2026.

It is a family business: Eloy, his wife, and crews made of the people he came up in the trade with. He is the third generation to do this work, after a grandfather who was a lineman and a father who is a controls technician and had him on jobs at thirteen. The rule on every job is the one he was raised on: leave it better than you found it.

08Questions

Straight answers on permits, panels and price.

Yes. Hardy Electric is a California licensed electrical contractor, CA License #1146740, bonded and insured. Eloy handles the planning, the permit and the inspection on every job himself, and that is built into the price rather than added on.

Hardy Electric opened in October 2025. Eloy had about 12 years in the trade before that, starting alongside his father, a controls technician, at 13 and going full time at 18. His grandfather was a lineman, so this is the third generation. The company is run by Eloy and his wife, and the crew is family and friends he came up in the trade with.

Two reasons come up most. Safety: if the label inside your panel says Zinsco, Federal Pacific or Pushmatic, common in homes built from the late 70s to the early 90s, insurers now require it replaced at renewal, and those breakers fail to trip and overheat. Capacity: adding solar, an ADU or an EV charger usually means a 200 amp service; otherwise 100 to 125 amps is often enough. Text a photo of the open panel to (760) 703-9446 and Eloy can usually tell you where you stand.

Yes. Tesla wall connectors are the most common, and Eloy installs any brand. An EV charger is usually what pushes a house into a service upgrade, so he does the load calculation first and tells you whether your panel can carry it before you buy anything.

Hardy Electric is open 24 hours. Call or text (760) 703-9446 and you reach Eloy, not a dispatcher. A Friday afternoon call has meant a Saturday morning visit more than once.

Yes, and Eloy wants more of it. Most of his career was on commercial and industrial sites. Tenant improvements and restaurant remodels, building signs, parking-lot light poles, conduit runs in warehouses, meter stacks for apartment buildings, and the thermal-imaging audits of switchgear and panels that insurers ask for at renewal. Work gets scheduled around tenants and the GC's timeline.

No. Estimates are free, and permits and planning are already in the number you get. Eloy turns down very little work; the exception is a budget too low to do the job right, and he will tell you that up front instead of cutting corners.

Temecula and Murrieta first, then the rest of Southwest Riverside County: Menifee, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, Winchester, French Valley and Perris. Most of Hardy Electric's first year of jobs were in San Diego County, from Fallbrook down to Chula Vista, and those calls are still welcome.
